Estimé-Irvin will present her inaugural State of District 3 Address virtually. The week’s festivities will also include the activation of the 2020-2021 North Miami Youth Council, an initiative led by Estimé-Irvin. Featured elected officials include State Representative Elect Christopher Benjamin, State Senator Jason Pizzo, and North Miami Councilman Alix Desulme, Ed.D. Highlights of this year’s event line-up are the Brunch Edition of Virtual Talks With Councilwoman, which will feature Estimé-Irvin live on Zoom preparing and exchanging brunch recipes with state and local elected officials, while discussing legislation and programs impacting North Miami. With social distancing in mind, most of the city of North Miami’s 2020 Florida City Government Week Celebration will take place virtually, while still showcasing the inner workings of the City, a behind the scene look at its operations and a platform to connect with elected officials and staff. Hosted by District 3 Councilwoman, Mary Estimé-Irvin, North Miami will be joining cities throughout the state in celebrating Florida City Government Week, from October 19th – 25th.
